Meet Douglas.
AI, running locally.

I built Douglas, a local AI agent for coding, research, and business tasks. At MCCTC's Ohio Tech Day, I demonstrated it running on a workstation I built myself.

Daniel Herrmann covered the demo for Ohio Tech News.

The person behind the pixels

Hi, I'm Zane.

I'm a full-stack developer in Ohio with a designer's eye. I build for local businesses and work on products of my own, so I know a website has to do more than look good.

I care about the details you see and the ones you don't: how a page feels on a phone, how a form works, and how easy the whole thing is to maintain.

A little more about me

Working together

Clear steps.
An open conversation.

Most websites take 1–3 weeks once your content is ready. Custom software gets a timeline that fits its scope.

  1. 01

    Start with a conversation.

Tell me about your business, your customers, and what needs to change. I’ll follow up with a clear scope and fixed-price quote.

  2. 02

    See it take shape.

We agree on a design, then I build it. You get a live preview to try on your own devices and a direct line for feedback.

  3. 03

    Launch with a plan.

I take care of deployment and handover. You own the code, and you can keep me involved for hosting, updates, and ongoing improvements.

Before we start

A few good questions.

What does a project cost?

Starter websites begin at $899, business websites at $2,500, and custom web apps at $6,500. After an initial conversation, you get a written scope and fixed price before any work starts.

Can you redesign my current website?

Yes. I’ll look at what’s working, what your customers need, and what’s getting in their way. We can keep useful content and rebuild the experience around it.

How long will it take?

Starter websites usually take 1–2 weeks once I have your content. Business websites take 2–3 weeks. Custom applications are scoped individually, usually 3–8 weeks.

What happens after launch?

You own your code, domain, content, and accounts. Optional care plans from $15–$99 a month cover hosting, monitoring, backups, and a monthly block of edits. I can also hand the project over to another developer.

Have something in mind?

Let's make it happen.

A new website, a better workflow, or a product
you can't stop thinking about. I'd love to hear it.
